Hello

Hello, my name is Hannah and I am the director and founder of Oceanview Academy. I am a homeschooling mom to four wonderful and crazy kids ages 2-13. We have been at this homeschooling thing for over 9 years now. We started from the very beginning and are still going strong. We are located in Half Moon Bay, a small coastal town in Northern California, where the fog brings on lazy days and magic.

Homeschooling offers our family a way to connect and learn alongside each other. It truly is a blessing and a wonderful way to do life together. The freedom and flexibility are astounding, and allow us to adapt our days as needed. During our years we have gone though many seasons of life and learning. We have participated in science classes put on by local museums, attended art and pottery classes, online writing classes, joined 4-H activities, piano lessons, softball, soccer and much more. There are many wonderful resources here along the coast and the greater Bay Area. You will never be short of choices for sure!

I started this PSP as a way to encourage other homeschooling parents on their journeys. I am here to provide advice and guidance with curriculum choices and encouragement to you along the way.
